This wedding post is somewhat different from the norm. My niece and her fiancé planned a wedding for the beginning of July, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they could only have the ceremony part. The reception was postponed for another month, and this meant then that they would need to have flowers for both occasions. I had the great pleasure of designing their personal flowers for their ceremony day, but also later for their reception day, in addition to the reception flowers.
I have divided this blog post into two parts. Part 1 is first look and some portraits that I was asked to take. The second part will be the portraits from their photographer, Andrea de Groot Photography, as well as all their reception florals. You will notice that each part has different personal flowers due to what was growing in the gardens at that time of the summer.
